Canada's National Men's Under-18 Team has advanced to the Gold Medal Final of the 2012 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament following a 5-2 win over the Czech Republic on Friday.

Canada will aim to win their fifth straight Gold Medal at this event when they play Finland on Saturday.

Bo Horvat (London Knights) opened the scoring against the Czechs at 5:19 of the first period and also scored the team's fifth goal.

Sam Reinhart (Kootenay Ice) also scored for Canada and finished the game with three points along with Nathan MacKinnon (Halifax Mooseheads) who had three assists.

Nic Petan (Portland Winterhawks) netted the game-winner and added an assist while Max Domi (London Knights) also tallied for Canada.

Zachary Fucale (Halifax Mooseheads) made 10 saves for Canada in the win.
