CHL Playoffs on Sportsnet: Halifax vs. Gatineau
TORONTO (April 9, 2014) Sportsnet’s coverage of the 2014 Canadian Hockey League playoffs continues on Friday Night Hockey as the reigning MasterCard Memorial Cup champs Halifax Mooseheads pay a visit to Quebec to take on the Gatineau Olympiques for Game 5 of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League quarter-final round on Friday, April 11 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on Sportsnet ONE.
The Mooseheads and Olympiques came into the quarter-finals after sweeping their respective opponents in the opening round of the QMJHL playoffs. The Mooseheads currently lead the series 2-1, with Game 4 being played this evening in Gatineau.
This week’s Friday Night Hockey playoff broadcast features host Rob Faulds in-studio alongside HOCKEY CENTRAL analyst John Shannon, with play-by-play announcer RJ Broadhead and analyst Sam Cosentino calling the game from the Robert Guertin Centre in Gatineau.
