Tuesday January 27, 2015
Toronto, ON – The Canadian Hockey League today announced that rookie Evan Cormier of the Saginaw Spirit is the Vaughn CHL Goaltender of the Week for the week ending January 25 after posting a 1-1-0-0 record with a shutout victory along with a goals-against-average of 1.00 and save percentage of .974.
Cormier stopped an impressive 75 shots in two games last week highlighted by a career-high 46-save performance on Thursday night against the North Bay Battalion.
