Jean-Christophe Blanchard named ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week
Toronto - The Canadian Hockey League today announced that
Jean-Christophe Blanchard of the Victoriaville Tigres is the ADT CHL
Goaltender of the Week after posting a 3-0-0-0 record along with a 2.67
goals against average and .920 save percentage in three starts last
week.
Bouchard started the week with a 31-save first-star effort in a 4-3 win
over the Chicoutimi Sagueneens on December 27. He followed up with 29
saves in a 5-2 win over the Shawinigan Cataractes on December 29 and
finished the week with 32 saves in a 6-3 win over the Cataractes on
December 30.
Each week the CHL recognizes the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week and
will present the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Year Award to the CHL's top
netminder at the conclusion of the 2006-07 season.
